We are so excited for our first week of the Summer Reading Program! If you missed it, you can read more about our themed program and snag the printable here. We were able to get most of these books using our library’s curbside pickup. I will link the books but make sure to check your local library!

Sprinkle Letters

Sprinkle Letters: Using a paintbrush (or finger) my four-year-old will work on writing the letters of his name. My five-year-old will practice her sight words!

Sundae Sensory Bin

Sundae Sensory Bin: In a plastic bin, I added cotton balls, poms, ice cream scoops and a few cupcake liners!

Scoop Counting

Scoop Counting: I drew little ice cream cones and my four-year-old will count the poms for each cone while my five-year-old will work on doubles addition.

We will also be making our own ice cream using this simple recipe and making ice cream playdough found here!

Our field trips will consist of visiting local ice cream shops that have outdoor seating. It is going to be a great week!
