Learning Through Play With Mudpuppy
This is not a sponsored post. All products were received as a gift and the opinions are 100% my own.
We were thrilled to open up our box of goodies from Mudpuppy Kids! Their products are created for children ages 1-6+ including games, puzzles, crafts & books. They incorporate illustrations from well-known artists and classic children's book characters. We loved each item we received!
Emma Grace is two and a half and was able to complete the puzzle pairs independently right away. The color coding of each puzzle pair is so helpful in matching the pieces together and the artwork is too cute. She was able to count the items and then point to the actual number after matching. Such good practice for 1:1 correspondence!
This was Emma's favorite! The sweet block puzzle is six puzzles in one. After we did it together a couple times, she got really good at it! She is very determined to spin each block until she finds the right side to complete the animal she chose. She even turned the lid of the box so she could see what each finished puzzle should look like as a guide. Each puzzle has a different color border making it easier to find the right piece as well!
The flashcard ring has so many activity options! First, we counted the pictures together and then flipped each card over to find the number. Next, Emma wanted to take them off the ring and put them in numerical order. There are also other flashcards in the set with addition using pictures!
Although Henry isn't one yet, our sweet friends at Mudpuppy sent us a board book for him! The pop art counting book has brightly colored illustrations as well as raised dots that correspond to the numbers on each page.
I can't help but have my eyes on their paper castle doll house :) Do yourself a favor and go check out all of their products. We will be going back for more!
